1:1 Voice Coaching

Alison really listens to her students. Particularly as a beginner, she creates a space that is open to questions, trial and error, customized goals, and ultimately gain confidence in vocal abilities. I would highly recommend her as a voice coach to anyone looking to practice and further their voice abilities!

My promise to you:

  • I won’t tell you that you have to stand still when you vocalize. Movement and expression are part of the process.

  • I won’t push you into a one-size-fits-all method. Your voice and goals guide our work together.

  • I won’t criticize your natural sound or tell you your voice is “wrong.”

  • I won’t limit you to just one style. You’ll have the freedom to explore different genres.

  • I won’t overload you with technical jargon. Lessons are clear and practical, and I’m always happy to adjust my methods.

  • I won’t rush your progress. We will move at a pace that supports your growth.

  • I won’t treat mistakes as failures. They’re an important part of learning.

  • I won’t ignore the body and breath. Your whole self is the instrument.

  • Can’t read music? That’s ok! Musicality isn’t measured by your music theory knowledge or ability to sightread. As your coach, we can work on it together or skip it altogether.
